Everything is permissible for me--- but not everything is beneficial. (1st Corinthians 6:12)
Sometimes we become victims of prospective mates that have a lay-away mentality toward love and relationship. They will show up with interest and place a reasonable emotional down payment on the table to hold the merchandise (you) and agree to make payments. Some may show up regularly with only a measly five dollar payment, hoping that you will bear with them until they can give a little more. Was that what you agreed upon? Then there is a group the group that will show up with a big payment after the cancellation notice for none payment has been sent out, asking for an extension. Are you willing to wait another month or another year? There is still yet another group that is holding two other lay away tickets that look suspiciously similar to the one they hold with you. Keep in mind he/she knows that they are only going to take one home. While this is going on, there possibly could be someone who is willing to make a full investment in you. Set a date for fulfillment of payment. If they do not pay up (emotionally) dust yourself off and get off the shelf.
A special note to all lay-away ticket holders--- know that if you continue vacillating (going back and forth) the lay away will be cancelled , possible without a final notice. Then the merchandise will no longer be available to you due to your slow payments or the lack there of. After this has happened, you will be resigned to having a discounted defected version of the original that will reflect depreciating flaws once you get it home.
We all desire to arrive at a place of love. We have to constantly reassure ourselves that true love is available to us. They key to this love is knowing the truth of God’s unfailing love toward us. The love between a man and woman must have the assurance of this truth to last. With this assurance love can be given and received with confidence, faith, and power in the thoughts, words, and actions exercised toward your mate. At level, love can manifest in the physical realm : sharing without fear and growing together as one limitlessly in a turbulent world.. Aren’t you tired of less than pleasurable sex that has become mechanical and physically unfulfilling? I know I am. We deserve more and can have more. Placing God in the center any love relationship is what will take it to the next level.
If you have made mistakes in the past leave them there. You can not got back and redo it , get out of Genesis. If you have a man or woman in your life that shines bright and complements your life, don’t sleep. If you know your heart isn’t in it, let him or her go. The hurt is unavoidable. The longer you wait the deeper the scar, for you both. You are not only holding them up but your holding yourself up. Stop making love complicated, it very simple when its pure. Fear makes love complicated and fear is not of God and God is love. Stop using your body and/or finances in a barter system for love. You’ll never get what you deserve, never. Stop looking for someone to complete you. That is God’s job not man or woman. A man or woman should compliment you , never subtracting only adding. Handle a person the way you want God to handle you , with love, mercy, and understanding. Give only to a person that can appreciate the God force operating in you and is willing to share the God force in them unselfishly .Most of all emulate Christ as best you can and desire the same in your prospective mate. Know that it will be the defining element of how well you both relate. Have faith and know that you can give and receive lasting love.
Well, sisters and brothers I have to get off at this stop. I hope that the words between these pages have illuminated some dark areas. If you have to reread the book, do it. Know that things will not change over night, but they will change. As you approach love here after think about when Peter step out of the boat to meet Jesus on the lake. Peter was able to walk on water just like Jesus. It was only until he took his eyes of Jesus and started noticing the chaos around him that he began to sink.
“Ask and it shall be given; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)
“Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24)
“This is the confidence we have in approaching GOD; that if we ask anything according to HIS will, he hears us. And if we know he hears us—whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked HIM.” (1 John 5:14-15)
