Choose Your Date, Choose Your Mate, By Looking At Facial Features
See the face and know the person behind it. That's right. Your personality is just as "plain as the nose on your face". In fact, the shape of your nose indicates whether you are more Commercial Minded or Service Minded.
A friend of mine has a husband who helps her with dishes, rubs her feet every night, and is quick to pick up a mop and clean the floor when company is coming.
One day she told me she wished her husband was more business-minded. He wasn't really that great with money. I told her to take her pick. If her husband was business minded, with a rounded out nose or bump on the nose, then he probably wouldn't be very inclined to be so helpful. I asked her, "Which do you want? Your feet rubbed every night or a fatter wallet?"
Choose your own irritations
You see; it is a matter of choice. When you understand personality traits YOU decide what you want in a relationship.
The person with a healthy bump on his or her nose understands money, cost and value. The person who has the scooped nose is inclined to automatically give service.
Now sometimes the Service Minded person gives to everyone else and neglects home; and sometimes the Commercial Minded tends to "buy" affection rather than give of himself.
Basically, the Commercial Minded person tends to secure services from others. He is usually a good manager. The Service Minded person tends to serve others and is naturally helpful. The Commercial Minded person may help others, but it will be more to see that it gets done, rather than do it himself.
One understands money and the other may need a family accountant.
No trait stands alone
Even though each trait has its own behavior, no trait stands alone. This means that you first understand what the trait is all about and then you observe behavior. The Service Minded person may be more of a homebody and do a lot around the house or, because of other traits, may be out and about doing for everyone in town.
The Commercial Minded may be inclined to be very business oriented and gone all the time, or he may be more of a home person and come home as quickly as possible after work.
Know yourself
It is important to know yourself before you can make a smart choice in a mate. If you have little need for personal service and love to be "bought" with gifts, etc. then you will want a Commercial Minded mate.
If personal service is very important to your needs, then choose a Service Minded person. You can always take care of the money yourself or hire a budget manager to make up for the downside of the trait.
The key to making personality traits work for you is to know that all traits have both the positive side and the negative side built in. You can't have one without the other. With that in mind you choose what you want. Negotiating your differences will help you work as true partners.
