Welcome to our addictions section. This section was necessary because of the peril and abuses we combat daily. One cannot fix something until they admit it’s broken, and relationship endurance can sometimes be a fool’s argument. Relationships weren't meant to be endured; they were meant to be enjoyed. As a black man or woman, husband or wife, boyfriend or girlfriend, we accept the stormy days, anticipating the return of the sun. To endure the storm when shelter is available is foolish. Commitment does not mean degradation.

Degradation stems from drugs, alcohol, crime and physical, verbal or emotional abuse. Commitment means loyalty to those that are loyal to themselves. Anything else is emotional suicide. So, come, let us gather in unison and try to understand why we put up with soooo much.
Why are we so addicted to drama and so comfortable anticipating/accepting failure? Why do we suffer so much dependency? Why aren’t we looking subjectively at black on black abuse and the reasons for this abuse?
